Initial Investment Proposal Process
You must complete an Initial Investment Proposal form for EA to consider investing in your business (a three page form you can access below and return by email to EA).
Your Initial Investment Proposal form will be considered by EA
– usually one or two members will meet with you, sign a confidentiality agreement with you, and then review your business and how you plan to use the investment funds. They will then give you an indication of whether your application matches up with what the Forum is looking for, or if it needs some further work.
If your Initial Investment Proposal is accepted, you will need to complete an application form and agree to the EA’s conditions.
Members of EA will then make sure you have finalised all the relevant details of your investment and will review the information you wish to present to an EA member meeting.
Investments are presented to monthly meetings of EA members. If members are interested in your investment, we will facilitate you meeting the interested investors. Ultimately, they will agree initial terms for the investment with you, then conduct due diligence before (hopefully) agreeing final investment terms and concluding agreements.
You pay the Forum a 4% commission on the capital funding invested by EA Members.
