Alan Dick

Meet Alan. Alan is an enthusiastic member of Enterprise Angels, sitting on the Screening committee and contributing regularly to the DD process.
A retired IT consultant, Alan is highly experienced in IT management, project management and network design. He is experienced with systems to support manufacturing, especially in process manufacturing (disassembly to create saleable products such as sawmilling, milk processing, freezing works). He has experience in the kiwifruit industry, as well as some experience with intellectual property and patents. Alan knows the lifecycle of taking a product from an idea to a working prototype and thence to a saleable product. He has knowledge of engineering and laboratory systems around automated data capture and portable data terminals. He has broad industry experience for transport, logistics supply chain and inventory systems to maximise sales effectiveness and minimise waste.
