Cooney Lees Morgan is Tauranga’s leading law firm and has been in business for over a century. Currently there are over 100 staff, including 58 lawyers and 9 partners. The firm is organised into four teams specialising in Property & Development, Litigation & Local Government, Corporate & Commercial and Private Client & Trust. With an office in Matamata they are able to serve the greater Waikato region as well.

Cooney’s is one of Enterprise Angels’ four strategic partners, They provide regular legal services to our organisation, startups who are looking for early investment funding, and individual angel investors.

Many of Cooney’s current managing Partners are active Enterprise Angels investors, and have helped provide legal advice over the years. Cooney’s Consultant, Carolyn Culliney, is a current member of the Enterprise Angels’ board.
