John Macaskill-Smith

A serial innovator, John has 20+ years’ experience in senior roles in the public and private health system with time with the Health Funding Authority and Ministry of Health, regionally leading New Zealand’s largest regional and rural GP network and PHO, and in the private sector delivering new ownership models for business and innovative clinical and digital services across New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and the UK.  John now works as Head of Strategy for a major digital health start up and in mentoring a wide range of start-ups across a range of industries.
