Blackcurrent is a holistic utility management platform that allows end users and other stakeholders to optimise energy capacity and consumption. It provide companies with near real time visibility of their electricity usage to enable them to manage or resolve electricity capacity issues either through changing usage patterns or by installing solar and/or battery systems and control systems at their premises.

Founded by Andrew Pegler, Jurjen Geerts and Matt Strik, members of the original (and very successful) Flick Electric team. The team at Blackcurrent comprises of Energy and Telco industry veterans who have a proven track record with their successful and enduring approach to business and technology by building innovative business solutions.

Enterprise Angels first invested in Blackcurrent in July 2022.
