Brian Staunton

Meet Brian our 2024 New Member of the Year award winner. Brian holds Irish, British and NZ citizenship.  He moved to Tauranga in April 2019 to bring his kiwi wife home from London together with their two sons where they had met and lived for 13 years. Professionally Brian has worked internationally as an executive with global technology companies for the last 20+ years including two start-ups most recently one of which was sold in Dec 2020 to a US listed company for USD$577M.  Brian has an MBA, is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors NZ (CMInstD).

Brian became a member of Enterprise Angels in October 2023 to focus on supporting and making some investments in New Zealand start-ups. Since joining he has regularly attended events, actively participated in due diligence, and began building his Kiwi investment portfolio.

He is the Enterprise Angels investor rep for Extraordinary and Lawvu.
