Chnnl

Chnnl is a SaaS platform that allows employers and employees to monitor the mental well-being of the workforce, in real time. It provides employees with a safe way to report stress, bullying and harassment, with a responsive, easy to use app that provides supportive feedback. The product mitigates the health and safety risk for managers and directors, particularly where employees are working in high stress environments.

Chnnl was founded and is led by Dr Elizabeth Berryman, a qualified medical doctor. Liz is a credible, passionate founder, with very strong people skills, underpinning her ability to build a high-functioning team. Among the Chnnl team are three experienced physiologists with a range of skills from behavioral modification, complex triage, high level risk assessment, mental health and organisational psychology. This has led to the development of a targeted, cutting edge product in high demand by district health boards (DHBs).

The product is a fully functional MVP and is being used by a number of DHBs on a paid basis. The COVID-19 crisis has delivered significant opportunities to the business. The past few weeks have seen inbound, unsolicited demand from DHBs, with some so interested they have been able to onboard themselves with minimal support.
