InsituGen was formed in 2020 and  provides a new doping test platform for the detection of anabolic drugs in biological samples from racehorses, athletes and in supplements.

The company is set to revolutionize steroid testing. InsituGen has designed a test that can detect new designer androgens (drugs) based on their activity rather than their structure. This technology will enable testing laboratories to remain ahead of the underground chemists and dopers. Future commercial applications for this platform exist in workplace testing, military testing and environmental testing.

Enterprise Angels members made their first investment in early 2021 directly and it is also part of the EA Fund 3 portfolio.
